Hi guys! Quick recap- every Monday I’ll be highlighting a different product, trend, workout, skincare must, travel destination etc that I am loving at the moment, right here on The Fashion Lisst. This weekly post will be called The Lisst & I couldn’t think of a better way to share my favorite things with you all!
First up on The Lisst is makeup artists favorite The Tropic Palette by Natasha Denona. I was first introduced to this palette on a shoot I collaborated on with makeup artist Domonique Speca. I have to admit I was a little weary about the bright blues, purple & greens among the peaches & nudes but I let her do her thing. I ended up being OBSESSED with what she did & made sure to order Tropic ASAP. The main reason I love this palette is because it has all of my favorite everyday neutrals as well as some vibrant pops of color for when you’re feeling funky. Below is the step by step guide to what I did to get the final look, comment with any questions in the comments at the bottom of this page! xx
Step one: Smashbox 24 hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer
Step two: Tropic Palette by Natasha Denona
I started with ‘gusti’ all over my lid & inner crease, followed by ‘pastel melon’ between the crease and brow bone. I used ‘coco’ in the crease & outer crease to add dimension.
Step three: GLOW by Natasha Denona
This stuff is AMAZING. I use this on my eyes and cheeks all the time- it adds a natural glow that most highlighters tend to over do. I used GLOW on my brow bone & later on my cheeks (after a bit of blush.)
Step four: FENTY BEAUTY Soft Matte Longer Foundation #190
If you know me you know I’m a big Rihanna fan & will support anything she does but with her beauty line she makes it SO easy! This has become my favorite foundation because it allows buildable coverage for day or night wear. (PS if you don’t own a beauty blender get one :D)
Step five: Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Trio in Peachy Love
Peach is my favorite color fo blush & I love the three shades this compact comes with. Fun Fact: I sometimes also use these as eyeshadows! For this look I used a tiny amount of ‘ginger’ (middle color) on my cheeks. (I always finish my look with GLOW on my cheeks and Laura Mercier bronzer on my forehead & jaw line.)
